In the North Caucasus, an invitation “to the khychins” was a sign of special hospitality and respect for the guest. The main feature of Caucasian flatbreads is that they can be prepared in a hurry. This dish will help out when you want something new, but time is limited. You will need:

  • potatoes – 500 g;
  • cheese – 500 g;
  • flour – 4 tbsp .;
  • kefir – 0.5 l;
  • salt – 1 tsp;
  • butter – 100 g.

First you need to prepare the dough by mixing flour, kefir and salt. When it’s ready, leave for half an hour. In the meantime, get down to the filling. For her, boil the potatoes with the peel, peel, heat with grated cheese.

Divide the dough into equal parts, stretch each part. Put the filling inside and pinch, then roll it out in the form of a cake.

Put the khychins on a hot frying pan, frying on both sides. Then grease each with melted butter.

An excellent addition to such flat cakes is natural yogurt sauce with dill.

Fried sticks

This is the easiest way to make a delicious snack, and you will get it quickly enough too. For her you will need:

  • suluguni – 300 g;
  • egg – 1 pc.;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • butter – 20 g;
  • flour;
  • greens.

Cut the cheese into cubes. Put them alternately in a hot pan with butter, dipping them in batter and herbs with squeezed garlic.

Snack mussels

This dish is equally suitable for a family dinner as well as for a festive table. Refined and unusual. Would need:

  • puff pastry – 1 pc .;
  • mussels – 200 g;
  • cheese – 150 g;
  • tomatoes – 2 pcs.;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • spice.

Cut the finished layer of puff pastry into squares and bake for 20 minutes. Boil fresh mussels, season with a little olive oil and spices. Cut the tomatoes into small wedges, slices suluguni.

Place everything in layers in a baking dish and cook in the oven for 15 minutes. Take out and put on ready-made dough squares.

Hot ciabatta

  • ciabatta – 1 pc.;
  • pear – 1 pc.;
  • suluguni – 100 g;
  • cherry tomatoes – 4 pcs.

Cut the ciabatta into quarters, lay out the pear, suluguni and tomatoes cut into thin slices. Sprinkle with herbs and place in the oven for 15 minutes. A great option for breakfast or a snack at home is ready!

Cream salad

A good addition to main courses. If you don’t use mayonnaise, you can easily replace it with natural yogurt with the addition of mustard and spices. You will need:

  • cheese – 70 g;
  • chicken fillet – 100 g;
  • cucumber – 1 pc.;
  • egg – 2 pcs.;
  • green onions;
  • mayonnaise;
  • seasonings.

Boil the fillet, chop finely. Also chop the cucumber, egg and green onions. Put in a salad bowl, pour over the dressing, add seasonings. Top with pieces of cheese.

Suluguni can be salted, smoked and even stuffed with cottage cheese and mint. All of it is quite salty, therefore, during the cooking process, you must observe the measure so as not to spoil the taste of the dish.
